She has 3 grown children and 4 grandchildren. She is recently retired from Borgess Hospital where she worked as a critical care nurse. Trustee Boven servers on the following committees:Įmail Don Boven Barbara Hammon Texas Township Trusteeīarb is a lifelong resident of SW Michigan and has lived in Texas Township since 1983. He also has served on the Township's Election Commission, Public Safety Committee, and Building Board of Appeals. Don has served the township in many capacities including Captain of the Texas Township Fire Department (20 years), on the Township Zoning Board of Appeals (2 years), and as a Township Trustee (30 years). Don retired from the Upjohn/Pharmacia Company after 31 years of service and has two grown children. Trustees investigate and study important issues before the board and participate in decisions and deliberations by voting. He is a long-time member of the community and has lived in Texas Township since 1965. Trustee Kerr serves on the following committees:Įmail Linda Kerr Don Boven Texas Township Trusteeĭon Boven has served on the Township Board in November 2016. She is a Certified Municipal Clerk, Master Citizen Planner, and an Assessor. Linda has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Western Michigan University and a Masters of Public Administration from WMU. In November 2020, she was elected Trustee. Linda Kerr was the first full-time township employee hired in 1996 and in November of 1996, was elected as Clerk, in which capacity served the Township for 24 years.
